Christmas was a lot of fun this year. My family came from Washington and Utah to visit. On Christmas Eve we went to Dave's parent's house for a GREAT dinner and then everyone played scum, one of Dave's Dad's favorite games. It has also become on of my families favorites.

On Christmas day we opened presents a little crazily, but Adona enjoyed it and opened a lot of her own. She wasn't as excited about her presents as she was the wrapping paper and ribbons. Dave and her had fun playing with the ribbon and paper though.

After we opened presents we went to Dave's parents again for Breakfast of pancakes and french toast. With my awesome buttermilk syrup that I adjusted with adding dried apples and cinnamon. It taste like apple pie. We all felt like we should go to the dentist after eating it though. HA! Later that day we walked around the Springs Preserve. It was a lot of fun. We hiked around and hid signs from my mom so we weren't there for 10 hours while she read everything 3 times. I think that was the first time I saw her run so fast. There was also this great kids area, that I can't wait to take Adona to in about a year. It has birds nest and snakes and everything fun. She also could become a turtle. HA!
Then we came home and watch a movie on the projector, which is what we did every night my family was here. It was a lot of fun.

Hey Jena! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I love blogging and I'm glad to see that you have one now. It's hard to stay up to date with it though. Your daughter is so cute. I have to admit that I haven't figured out how to pronounce her name though because I haven't heard it before. It looks like a pretty name though :) She is getting big already! Well, have a very happy new year. Hopefully I can make it out to Vegas to visit sometime soon :)
You're a BLOGGER!!! And you've been doing this for how long and you haven't told me?! Shame, Jena, shame! :)
I'm glad you had a fabulous Christmas. Little kids always make it so much fun. I can't believe how big she is getting! Reading about your apple pie pancakes made me ache in my heart and stomach for your famous baked goods... :) glad to hear you're doing well!
I think it's time we have a game night with you guys so you can show us how to play scum. The name makes it surprisingly appealing
