We named Adona after Dave's grandmother, who was an amazing person. She was widowed when she was in her 40s, with one young child still at home. She raised 7 children all together and they are all amazing people. Since being widowed she served several missions for our church and continued to be a strong, hard working woman until she passed away November 2, 2010. Her funeral was the following Monday. It was a wonderful service and we are happy that we were able to know this amazing woman. We are also happy to have our own Adona, whom we hope will live the same kind of life the woman she is named after did.
