Trianing
Believe it or not, I'm training with my friend to run a 1/2 marathon. We will see how it goes, but I'm totally excited about it right now. I probably will need help keeping up the excitement, so any suggestions will be great. I'm following Hal Higdon's training program, a little bit adjusted though. I'm excited also, because I just got this phone that has a fitness device on it. Although I don't think its completely correct with distance, I can still keep track of the time and everything. I also can listen to music or radio. It's fun. Anyway! Anyone with tips for getting ready to run, leave a comment. Or if you want to run it with us, we are running in Salt Lake City in April. So feel free to start training and we will see you there!

I'm glad that you are so excited partner. Salt Lake here we come.
Can I run with you guys? I already told Adam I wanted to do it. It would be the best thing for me right now? Is Dave going to train for it too?
Wow! Good luck with that. I've always wanted to run in a marathon but I get tired after a half a mile, haha! I would join it with you but SLC's a little too far for me. Make posts about your progress though...I want to hear how you're doing.
Jena! Wow! I am so proud/excited for you!!! I did that race last year! (I was supposed to do it with Keely, but she decided not to at the 11th hour...)
Training for it was one of my favorite things. I think as long as you run consistently (5-6 days a week) you will be fine. Also, run outside as often as you can because running on pavement is different on your joints than running on a treadmill. But do what you can. I would just run whenever Tyson was home, so it was always at odd times of the day. The race course is pretty flat (there weren't really any hills that I remember). You wlil love it. I am so excited for you! Also, if you want running song suggestions I have a couple I love we can exchange or something. Congratulations!
I just looked at your training program, and it looks very manageable. You can totally do that! That looks a lot easier than the one I used to train. You go girl!
