An update

I need to update in a serious way!! I have thought about blogging things a lot, but the thought of getting it up to date has been keeping me away! This is just part of a review and I probably have missed a bunch, but I don't care!
Looking at pictures I decided on these two events: Adona going to see the play Annie and Easter.
Adona loves music and when we introduced her to the movie Annie, she was in love. We saw a poster at the library for a young kid's performance group production of Annie. It was cheaper then taking her to a movie, so we decided to get tickets and go. Of course she was sick the day we choose, but they were nice enough to change our tickets for us. I wanted to make it extra special for her, so we curled her hair, made her feel really special and grown up. Which isn't hard, because she things she is so big these days! (See her in her coat with a purse and so SERIOUS!) She absolutely loved the show and was totally into it the whole time!! It was an amazing production and the Annie was great, even though she was the understudy! Of course we couldn't help but get her a shirt to wear as a dress or pjs, whatever she wants! It really made me want to put her into dance, but I have restrained myself due to cost and not ready to start something like that yet. She is just too young!

EASTER

I really wanted to make the girls Easter dresses that matched, but time got away from me and then I got sick. However I was lucky my mom came into town and "helped" me. Meaning she basically did it while I watched happily! I loved them!!!

This year Adona did 3 egg hunts. One with friends in our neighborhood. It was a nice day and a fun little get together. One on Sunday morning with the eggs she helped me dye with natural dyes (food). It was funny to see how excited she was about it. It was just in our living room and she and Giana loved it. (Giana really loved trying to eat the eggs, with her 2 little teeth she cracked some open.) Her last hunt was at Grandma's house with her cousins. I think Grandma filled 160 eggs full of candy. Thank goodness we only got like 10! Adona has already finished off all her Easter candy, but is totally addicted and asking for more "treats" all the time. Now it's time to detox all of us!
Since the new year we have had church at 1PM, so Adona has been really bored and wanting to watch movies in the morning. We don't like her to watch anything, but church videos on Sunday, so she has been choosing to watching "The Testaments". I love that movie, but the things she has noticed about the movie is the part when they crucify Christ. She always talks about Jesus dying. So lately I have been trying to point out that he is resurrected and lives. I really tried to remind her of that this last Sunday and that that is why we celebrate Easter. She doesn't really seem to pay attention, but as long as she gets it someday, I'm fine.
