Dave's Mom doing what she and her grand-kids loved most. Reading to them. This was our last Christmas with her.July 28, 2011 was a happy day. We didn't sleep that night, we were in the hospital waiting for our baby to be born. At 3am that morning we got the news. Tears came to our eyes, yet we felt at peace and happy. Dave's mom left her life here on earth and moved on to live with her family and our Heavenly Father. She didn't have cancer anymore and even though she wouldn't know our Bryner here on earth, she knew him before we knew him.
The nurses expected Bryner to come by early afternoon or even morning, but instead he waited and did not arrive until late afternoon. We like to think grandma wanted to have more time with him. After he arrived we were excited to celebrate the cycle of life; one leaves this earth and another enters it. He was her 18th grandchild. We have no doubt he knows her and she knows him. We are truly blessed to have him here and blessed to know Dave's mom is on the other side helping us now.
Here are pictures of Grandma DeMarco hold the girls the day they were born.
