Dave's Mom's funeral was August 6, 2011 . It was a beautiful day and a lot of friends and family were there. We felt so loved and it was wonderful to spend the day celebrating her life and reminding us to be better people, so we can see her again. Thank you to all that were there and support us.

The burial, we laughed because even though they have a roller thing to put the casket on, they had the boys carry it all the way to the site, which was all the way in the back. It was hard, especially with the heat.

Family. (Notice Tom's face, he was in the hospital the whole week between Janet's death and her funeral with an infection of some kind.)

Janet loved flowers so much. It was very fitting that she had so many at her funeral. Some of the arrangements were themed on her other loves; BYU basketball, Christmas villages, Japan, and family past and present.

The family at the burial.

All 18 grandkids, minus 2 that couldn't be there. (We could never get a great picture with all of them. Oh well!)

At the luncheon they had people talking about Janet and her influence on them. It was so amazing to hear different stories about her. This woman had and very special one for us. She had a dream about Janet, where Janet told her how she knew Bryner and he was wonderful. (This woman didn't know Janet's 18th grandchild was due at any moment.) This was such a tender mercy for us. I have had a hard time with her not meeting Bryner and hearing that story brought me such peace. She knows him!

These cute girls, were some girls Janet worked with in our church. They learned how to sing "I am a Child of God" in Japanese for the luncheon. (Janet served her mission in Japan.) It was very sweet.

Last good-byes..

Our family that day. We are so happy we are eternal!
