Since we have church at 8:30 on Sunday, we quickly opened their stockings and presents from each other before church. They were so excited and we could have stopped there.
Adona gave Giana a purple talking baby doll, Dora band aids, purple bag of M&Ms and she gave Bryner baby toys.
Giana gave Adona a beauty parlor play set and Bryner a little sock monkey.
Bryner gave the girls both a new game.

After opening a few presents we quickly got showered and dressed for Church. The girls wore their Christmas dresses and the rest of us honored our Tongan family by dressing in our tradition Tonga clothing. (I made Bryner's wrap the night before. It was so cute! Now I just need someone to send me a mat for him too!)
I really wanted a picture of each girl in their Christmas dresses. Adona loved posing for it, Giana was too busy playing with her new things.
After church we came home and unwrapped the rest of the presents. The girls got more Barbie movies, Disney Princess Barbies, games, and much more. They were excited for all. During part of the unwrapping I face-timed my parents, so they could see them opening some of their presents. We love technology!

Christmas night we gathered together as a DeMarco family again to have our traditional Christmas dinner and to read and act out the nativity. The dinner was nice, but the nativity is always my favorite.
Adona insisted on being Mary and Leo was happy to be Joseph with her. They were very cute together. We of course had the Wise Men (Thomas, Michael, and Jarom). Katelyn made a beautiful star. Oh and who could forget our little baby Jesus, played by Bryner. It was a wonderful night.

Christmas this year was wonderful (even though we had work going on to fix our house the whole time) and it was great to talk to all of our family. We were able to Skype my sister in Australia and talked to her for a while, along with face-timing my brother in Utah. It's amazing to be able to see my family, even though we are all so far away from each other. I think that is what we are most grateful for this year, we can still be a close family yet live so far away from each other.
