Christmas Eve afternoon we went as a family to visit Janet's grave. Dave's sister Jennie read some of Janet's journal entries from Christmases while they were young. It was a great way to remember her and celebrate her life.
The DeMarco's have a family saying, it is Be Pure in Heart. After family prayer every night as kids, they would join hands (like above) and chant "Be Pure in Heart". We couldn't leave Janet's grave without doing it together. Now the family is too big to get a picture of the whole family's hands during the chant, so here is a small part of it.
