Day 1-First full day in Bogato

Pictures a little blury, because the kids were moving so much.

My first full day here was Friday. It was full of running around and irration with the agencies here. Let me back up a couple of days to let you know what we were doing. The day before I got here the McCrackens got their document saying that the kids where now their's. This was exciting because it was 1 1/2 weeks before we were hopping we would get it. So Friday when I was here we went to pick up birth certificates and try and get their passport. You can read more about this on the McCracken blog. I was in the car with the kids and Brian most of the time. The kids were AMAZING considering. At one time while Rachel was in trying to get something, we saw a park and headed there to play for about 20 minutes. We also ate lunch at a bakery here and Brian went and got us food from a little cafe. My favorite was this soup that was made from all these different types of potatoes. yummy! That was fun, but needless to say it was a lot of running around for only one thing that was ready for us and now we have to hope and try to get their passports on Monday, but probably on Tuesday. When we finally got home at 4:30 we headed to Geno's; a pizza place just on the corner that have slides and video games. It was kind of like Chucky Cheese, except the slides and video games were free. That was pretty much our day. I really enjoyed just experiencing Bogato and getting to know the kids.

I'll try adding some more pictures later. I don't have time or energy right now.
