After I landed in LA, we decided to stay for the weekend. Dave, Adona, and Jordan met me in LA and Saturday we went to the beach, Santa Monica Pier, and Hollywood Blvd. It was a VERY busy Saturday. It was a lot of fun those.
Adona was very unsure of the beach at first. She really didn't like the water, but it was kind of cool outside. She did have fun digging and playing with her cousins though. Dave and Jordan had a lot of fun buggy boarding and playing in the waves. I just enjoyed playing with Adona after not seeing her for a week.
The Santa Monica Pier was a lot of fun. We didn't go on any rides except the carousel, but just enjoyed walking around there and we had some pretty good Mexican. We also got some ice cream and funnel cakes. Yummy! Adona really loved her ice cream! HA!
Hollywood Blvd was not very exciting, because by the time we got there it was late and BUSY! We couldn't find a parking place and didn't really do anything, but drive passed it. Jordan and I did walk around a little, but Adona was so tired she screamed almost the whole way back to the Hotel.

It was a fun trip, on the way back we stopped in Baker and ate at Mad Greek. It was a little expensive, but really good food. It was definitely a fun treat, but not something we will pay for again.

Adona does look a little unsure about that water. So very cute! Glad you got an extended vacation after all the craziness in Colombia.
