So I decided to start from the very beginning; the airport. I left December 14th with my sister and daughter. The flight was 10 1/2 hours from LA to Fiji. This of course the flight to be worried about. I had good reason. We didn't leave until 10 and that ment a late night for Adona, who was very excited about the airport. She completely FREAKED out when they wanted me to put her seatbelt on and I have never seen her more violent or angry. Finally she fell asleep and I got her buckled in before take off, but I felt REALLY bad for everyone by me, because I'm sure the worried them A LOT. (It worried me too!) We did get a bassinet, so that she could sleep there, but when I put her in it, it was the same freak out. In the end she decided to sleep there and she slept there for about 2 hours and the rest of the trip she was on me. Not too horrible, but I had to get up a lot of walk, because of swelling and everytime I slightly moved she would start freaking out again. I have never seen her so terrible and hope to never see that again! However I didn't leave her on the airplane like I wanted to and we both survived. Here are a few fun picture at the airport.
I borrowed one of those back packs with the leashes from a friend, because Adona loves to run away. However Adona thought it was her baby and would not put it on her back. When we were walking to our gate she would sit down randomly and hold and kiss her monkey. It worked out fine and she was really good in the airport. It made for a great toy for her, which I didn't have a lot of anyway.

Hanging out in the airport. I figured I wouldn't have a ton of pictures from the trip and when I thought to have someone take one, I would try and follow through with it. No story though.

wait, what swelling, am I missing a vital piece of information? Are you pregnant? if not, why are you getting swelling? I may just have to call you tomorrow to get my answers.
