The Natural Bridge

One of the places we went was to the "natural bridge". It is hard to tell from the picture, but there is this huge hole right off the shore and water goes in and out of it, because it has an opening on one side. I believe the Tongan's have some story to go with it, but I don't know this ones. I know that another island has the same kind of bridge and it is because a chef's son throw a taro root and it made this hole. I imagine that it's about the same type of story. This was on the opposite side of the island as we were staying. We went here on Christmas day and then headed down to the beach below. I thought this was one of the prettiest places on the island, but most of the island is this pretty.

I wanted to add these pictures because it was a great view of what the shore looked like here. We went down to this beach and the actual beach is very sandy and pretty. I think here to take this picture we are standing on the bridge.
