Ballerina Adona

Adona had her first Tap/Ballet combo class today. She has been so excited to be a ballerina. I worried that she would be excited, but scared. I was wrong. She was so excited that the 10 minutes before class started she danced and talked up a storm. She was so happy to be there. She loved tapping around for the first 30 minutes. She wanted to do everything and was quick to volunteer to do anything the teacher said. (Even if she shouldn't have!) The next 30 minutes they did ballet. They stretched and learned the first position. The teacher asked if anyone knew the first position and Adona raised her hand that she did. (She didn't!) She then went on to dance around the room like a "ballerina". It was so funny! Of course down the road, she would be in trouble, but she had no clue she wasn't doing what the teacher told her! There were many funny moments with her, but she loved it all! I'm so excited for her to learn to dance, but to also learn how to be part of a class. After the class she said her favorite part was the tap dancing part. She is hoping to dance more ballet next week. (I worry that she thinks she knows how to dance ballet and won't listen to the teacher. We shall see in the next month.)

A little video from her class.
