A Snowy Morning

This last Monday we looked out the window to see big snowflake falling. It didn't take long before it started piling up. My poor little garden was covered in snow. (I hope it'll survive!)
Adona was excited to go look at the snow on the grass lot next to our house. She wouldn't wait to change out of her nightgown into warmer clothes. Besides that we never know when it would stop or just melt away, so I'm glad we went out and enjoyed it falling on us. We built a very simple snowman, much to Adona's delight, she has loved Frosty this year. Dave wasn't feeling well and was home from work, so he came out to enjoy it with us. I loved how confused Giana was about it. Although she has been in snow last year, she didn't remember it and didn't know what to do with it until we showed her.
It was pretty much all gone by noon, so I'm glad the girls got to enjoy the snow as much as they did. (Adona was too cold not long after we made the snowman and wouldn't go back out there even in warmer clothing.)
